How to Book
Not quite sure how to book? Read everything below!
Step One: Browse through our website, we have categories set out under the rent option on our menu where you can sort your rental based on size, dress type, colour and occasion.
Step Two: Once you've found a piece you're interested in check the availability, if something is available for your date the booking system will allow you to book it. If the date is saying booked out then unfortunately it has been booked by someone else. If it says blacked out and you are a pick up (Dunedin) flick us through a message as it may be available! If there is a long weekend the rental has been booked for we sometimes black it out for the following weekend to avoid it being booked as a postal rental due to the short turnaround time.
Step Three: Once you've got the garment you want and it's available for your date select your rental duration! Remember you need to select your start date as the date you are wearing the garment not when you want it to arrive as our booking system automatically blacks out days either side of the rental to account for this. Below is how rental duration should be selected;
2 Day Duration: Sun - Thursday Events
3 Days: Saturday Events
4 Days: Friday Events
If you are a pick up the return days are sunday and monday so you can select either 2 or 3 day duration for Saturday and either 3 or 4 day duration for Friday rentals.
Once you've done this simply add to cart! Your cart is reserved for 15 minutes from when you add to cart.
Step Four: Once at checkout just enter all your details and press confirm and then you'll receive a confirmation email (don't forget to check your junk/spam folder). Make sure you enter your details correctly and that the correct shipping option has been selected. If you realise after you've booked that something is wrong with your details or shipping option don't stress just flick us a message and we can sort it!
Step Five: If you're a postal you'll receive an email with your tracking number on Monday - Wednesday the week of your event. If you're a pick up you'll receive a pick up email on the Thursday or Friday the week of your event with all the pick up info. If you can't find an email please check your junk/spam folder before messaging us.
Step Six: Once your event is over simply package the garment back up in the prepaid return bag and take to your local NZ post shop counter (not a drop box) by 3pm the following business day. If you're a pick up these can be returned Sunday/Monday or the following day for weekday rentals.
